Testing Shot: 2, short clips

now i made characters and animations, this first shot i had to use books as a stand so it looks unstable and close. i mainly used it as a way to use sound, not my best but its only the beginning.

This second i call Punching bag uses the same tools as the last one, but with use of a REAL tripod and choreography.

hope to have a final product soon. all i need to do is paint the Background and another fighter

See yah!

Live From the Orpheum Theater: Super Smash Bros: Brawl!

Photobucket
So last week i got word that there will be a SSBB tournament in LA's Orpheum theater. So i went and stopped by. I got there late so i couldn't join in the actual event, but i was able to play 4 min's of the game. Got to play as pit, and used the final smash which was awesome. I wish i had more tome with that game.

I took three vids and lots of picks of the event. Had a great time. First tournament. Maybe next time i can actualy join

Although i don't have a Wii, im a big fan of the Smash Bros series. Its an amazingly hectic fighting game, and practically holds around 15-20 years of videogame history in characters, stages, and items.

i hope to get a Wii soon, and get the game.

Sometimes the best movies are the ones we make up, you better have a damn good budget

Be kind rewind is a film from Michael Gondry (director of Eternal Sunshine ,The Science of Sleep and Dave Chapel's Bloc Party) in which two guys( Jack Black and Mos Def) from a whole in the wall rental store discover that all there tapes have been erased. They go into desperate measures to keep the store going by "attempting" to recreate the lost films by creating there own cheap and inacurate versions of them. Some of these films Include: Driving Miss Daisy, Ghost Busters, Robo Cop, and more! By doing so, the neighborhood become big fans of the two and their films and help keep the business going.

This film is odd to me because this is something most people do as kids, reenact there favorite films. So its odd and cool to see this. Also the tag line sparked something right into my head, "Sometimes the best movies are the ones we make up". What came up is youtube, the ability to do what you want on video and share to the world. anyone with a camera, friends, and the heart to create something can do it. You wouldn't care if its bad or good, you just have fun with it. The way the film looks, it seems to capture that idea pretty well. It comes out Feb. 22, im gonna go watch it, and you should you!

See yah in a few!

Ive Got too much to play

So this past Christmas i got a lot of games to play, it was all fine until school started back up. Crap, now i almost have time to play!

I Got Call of Duty 4 from Infinity Ward: its an amazing game, there are a lot of bad guys to kill and a lot of ways you can die. The Intensity of firefights makes for incredible gameplay.I finished the game but i'm trying to beat it on the hardest difficulty.

Also got Orange Box from Valve. This game is consisted of: Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Ep. 1, Half-Life 2: Ep. 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal .I have yet to play Eps. 1 & 2, and couldn't find a match on TF 2. Portal and Half-Life 2 is the only game i've finished, and there amazing. The best thing to come out of this is Portal, A game that is well ahead its time, just look at this footage to see only a taste of this game

Last But Not Least is what maybe my favorite game of '07, Mass Effect. Mass Effect, from BioWare, is an extremely HUGE game. Now this is not for everyone because its not the most action heavy game out there, But it makes up for that In amazingly rich epic story, its incredible dialog tree, and its ability to explore a galaxy, Ive spent about 24 hrs on this game and i have more to go

I have to finish up gaming here, also need to find a job. Priorities first. See yah!
